Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License with multi-engine land rating
- Minimum total flight time of 5000 hours including 2000 hours as Pilot-in-Command
- Experience with Gulfstream G600 or G280 aircraft
- First Class FAA physical certification
- FCC Radio Telephone Operator permit
- Proven ability to follow safety protocols
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Demonstrated professional integrity and adherence to CRM and world-class standards
- No history of aircraft accidents, incidents or violations
Job Qualifications
- Gulfstream G600 aircraft experience or Gulfstream G280 aircraft experience
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of aviation experience or Master’s degree and 4 years of aviation experience or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of aviation experience or Associate’s degree and 10 years of aviation experience or High school diploma/GED and 10 years of aviation experience
- Airline Transport Pilot License with multi-engine land rating
- First Class FAA physical
- FCC Radio Telephone Operator permit
- Total flight time of 5000 hours with 2000 hours as Pilot-in-Command and 2000 hours multi-engine
- A minimum of 1000 hours jet time and preferably 100 hours in specific make/model aircraft
- Actual instrument and nighttime flight experience
- Recent long range international business jet experience
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Focus on safety and safety-first environment
- Ability to work within structured and standardized environments
- No record of accidents, incidents or violations
- Outstanding employment record
- Demonstrated teamwork capabilities
- Ability to work well within Amgen’s culture of entrepreneurship and diversity
Job Duties
- Check weather and all applicable NOTAMs
- Determine fuel, oil and oxygen requirements
- Determine aircraft weight and balance
- Ensure all flight planning requirements are met
- Verify crew members have valid licenses, medical certificates, passports and visas
- Perform aircraft pre-flight inspections
- Brief passengers according to requirements
- Operate aircraft in compliance with procedures and limitations
- Maintain compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws
- Complete post-flight duties, including reporting deviations
- Record flight times and report aircraft defects
