Job Requirements

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check
  • Ability to work on-call rotations including weekends for rig support
  • Bachelor's degree or relatable certifications and experience
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience

  • Preferred 7+ years related work experience
  • Strong logistics and compliance knowledge
  • Good understanding of best practices
  • Knowledge of customs laws in countries of operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide required guidance and support to remote locations to facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures for import and export of rigs and material to ensure company compliance with local regulatory requirements
  • Support initiatives within remote locations to develop in-house customs expertise on import/export formalities
  • Collaborate with customs agents in the region to resolve import/export issues and reduce risk of fines and penalties
  • Support the setup of policies and procedures related to the compliance function
  • Analyze and manage the performance of regional customs brokers through reviews and evaluations
  • Interact with local rig management to gain support for compliance initiatives
  • Identify compliance issues requiring follow-up or investigation
  • Support NCRP/ISA programs
  • Stay informed on industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess potential impact
