Job Requirements

  • At least one year of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Willingness and ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Ability to walk, stand, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds during shifts
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse groups
  • Display initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills
  • Professional and ethical behavior in all situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role
  • Strong culinary skills
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Preparing the kitchen before shifts including food prep and stocking the line
  • Ensuring all supplies are available and ready for service
  • Cooking food items accurately and timely according to recipes and standards
  • Cleaning kitchen work areas and assisting other stations
  • Unloading delivery trucks and storing inventory correctly
  • Following all safety and sanitation policies for handling food and beverages
  • Collaborating with other cooks to ensure food readiness and presentation
