Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for an eight hour shift
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and climb stairs
- Open availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Keen attention to detail

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or housekeeping aide experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to excellent guest service
Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow associates at all times
- Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of shifts to remove newspapers, trash, linens and note areas needing cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of guest vending areas, elevator landings, linen closets, and housekeeping department storage areas
- Assist Room Attendants with removal of dirty linen and trash and help with moving furniture, rollaways, flipping mattresses
- Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist in cleaning if needed
- Collect trash from service landings and dispose of it in outside dumpsters per hotel procedures
- Vacuum guest corridors
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping areas, linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells
