The Houseman position is a vital role within the hospitality industry, primarily responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and order throughout the public areas of a hotel property. Job Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- ability to understand cleaning solutions or equipment labels and use as instructed
- ability to work weekends and/or overtime as necessary
- ability to understand and follow guidelines
- ability to adhere to time requirements, productivity measurements and similar client standards and expectations

Job Duties
- Professionally clean and maintain the hotel public spaces following the brand standards
- sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and wash all surfaces
- assist with linen as needed
- identify and note any damages to public areas
- collect and remove trash
- replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products
- perform any combination light cleaning duties to maintain hotel in a clean and orderly manner
