Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in customer service or recreation setting with direct contact with adults and children
- Valid driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

- High school diploma or equivalent with one to two years of experience in customer service role or recreation setting with direct contact with adults and children
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
- Valid driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Job Duties
- Responsible for the safety of all the program participants
- Applies disciplinary actions in accordance with program guidelines
- Set up and break down of equipment needed for the operation of the program
- Paperwork to include incident/accident reports
- Required to attend all mandatory trainings mandated by the County or the State
- Supervision of program participants during program activities
- Ensure all utilized areas are left in clean and free of clutter
- Provide assistants at other activities and or programs within the Department of Parks and Recreation
- Observes all approved safety and health policies and procedures of an employee's work activities and performs all work tasks safely and healthily in accordance with County policy
- Performs other assigned duties
