Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • availability during the spring athletic season of 2025-2026
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • skill in managing groups and supervising activities
  • background in sports or event coordination preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • commitment to upholding safety and conduct standards at athletic events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in event supervision or athletic event management preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication abilities
  • ability to manage and lead event staff
  • understanding of sportsmanship and safety protocols
  • ability to work under pressure during live events

Job Duties

  • Ensure the physical, organizational, and supervisory elements of the assigned events are in place
  • welcomed and manage contest officials
  • supervise event workers
  • monitor the conduct of coaches, players, and spectators
  • greet visiting teams and coordinate their entrance, participation, and departure
  • establish and maintain the security of the contest area, locker rooms, etc.
  • communicate daily with the Athletic Department and provide a post-event report as necessary to the Athletic Director
  • assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Department
