Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire
  • possession of a valid and appropriate driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles
  • ability to frequently walk, sit, and talk or hear
  • ability to occasionally use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls
  • ability to occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in various weather conditions such as hot and cold temperatures
  • ability to maintain a neat professional appearance
  • availability to work mostly in the evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Assist with activities at the Sportsplex, coordinate tournaments, birthday parties, special events, and leisure classes
  • answer phones
  • accept payments and provide change to customers
  • help set up and break down activities and special events
  • provide information regarding events to the general public
  • enforce safety rules
  • coordinate and schedule reservations for use of the Sportsplex
  • maintain cleanliness of facility
  • report issues with equipment
  • respond to public inquiries about activities and events made by telephone and correspondence
  • perform related work as required
