Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Culinary or related field
  • Minimum two years of culinary experience
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent and literate in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all team members
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Must have ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Flexible to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Able to interact diplomatically with guests and colleagues
  • Flexible to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to culinary staff
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
  • Coordinate scheduling and communicate concerns to management with attention to guest satisfaction
  • Produce menu items following prep lists and ensure kitchens are stocked and ready for service
  • Support compliance with departmental budgets and assist with cost control methods
  • Actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service
  • Address customer service issues as they arise
  • Assist with administrative duties such as attendance tracking
  • Maintain quality assurance procedures to meet health and safety standards
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues to management
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
