Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three years of related experience and/or training
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and Word
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- Must be able to obtain ServSafe certification
- Physically able to perform job duties including pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, and balancing

- Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing
Job Duties
- Reports to Sous Chef at start of shift to receive instruction as to daily specials and menu changes
- Supervises and directs line staff in absence of Sous Chef
- Prepares recipe per standardized recipes and production sheets
- Prepares plate menu items, as ordered, per specifications on hot food production line with strict attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Assists in other areas of kitchen as instructed by Sous Chef
- At completion of service, puts all perishable foods in covered containers and refrigerates
- Cleans station and reports to Sous Chef for closing instructions
- Leads completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit
