Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- supervisory experience preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups
- ability to perform mathematical computations and interpret data
- strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution
- physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks
- maintain confidentiality in all matters
- comply with health and regulatory standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic manner
- physical ability to perform job duties including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and working in confined spaces
Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
- support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
- adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns with attention to guest satisfaction
- administer all aspects of food preparation ensuring kitchen is clean, well-stocked and problem-free
- support compliance to departmental budgets
- enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- maintain cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory in each restaurant
- assist Sous Chef with administrative duties
- maintain established quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with health department and customer service standards
- ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
- maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
