Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people
- Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts applicable to business needs including money handling
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law
- Capability to stand, walk, use hands, and reach frequently
- Ability to talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work in sometimes noisy and smoke-exposed environments
- Must meet departmental uniform, appearance and grooming standards
Job Qualifications

- One to three months of related experience and/or training

- Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including counting money
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law
Job Duties
- Provide stellar customer service to internal and external customers and vendors including participation in and promotion of customer service programs to continuously improve customer service
- Retrieve, prepare, display, sell, and serve products to customers including but not limited to food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Pour, mix, or prepare ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, or fruit juice to prepare beverages as ordered including drawing from taps or pouring from bottles
- Ensure that garnish items are adequately prepared and stocked including proper preparation of such items as lemons, limes, olives, celery, and cherries, ice, liquor, beer and wine
- Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers
- Prepare and serve food to guests
- Follow appropriate food and beverage handling procedures to ensure safe, quality products
- Maintain freshness of food and beverage items by rotating and filling items as needed and maintaining items at appropriate temperatures
- Complete all assigned opening and closing sidework
- Complete sales to customers including appropriate use of cash register, Micros or other software or hardware, making change, processing credit transactions or comps, making deposits, and accounting for money in registers before and after shifts
- Check out with supervisor or manager before leaving shift
- Perform tasks to ensure an attractive and safe physical appearance of working areas including cleaning and sanitizing all areas such as wiping down bar areas, trading out or emptying ashtrays, removing and dumping trash, wiping down bottles or glasses, cleaning mirrors, stainless components, refrigerators, shelves, ice bins, and garnish containers
- Ensure that all areas are clean and attractive including cleaning tables and removing dishes, cups, tableware, debris and litter, and cleaning floors in the bar and server areas
- Ensure supplies are stocked as needed including plates, napkins, tableware, condiments, ice, beer, wine and food products including ensuring that supplies are stocked for the next shift
- Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed
- Compile information, complete and submit reports as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
- Promote casino events and programs
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter
- Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
- Any reasonably requested job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business or any reasonable request made by supervisor or management personnel
