Job Requirements

  • Previous pastry or baking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience in a kitchen or event environment
  • Knowledge of basic pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert production
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit or Manager Food Safety Certification

Job Duties

  • Supervise pastry and dessert production for soccer matches, concerts, and special events
  • Execute desserts, baked goods, and specialty items according to Levy recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Assist with event prep, breakdown, and post-event kitchen resets
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Enforce proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature controls
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen and prep areas
  • Provide direction, coaching, and on-shift leadership to pastry staff
  • Model professionalism, teamwork, and guest-focused service
  • Communicate effectively with managers, chefs, and event leadership
  • Assist with inventory control, product usage, and waste reduction
  • Support menu execution for catering events and concerts
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and labor guidelines
  • Step in to perform culinary tasks as needed to support the team
