Job Requirements
- Previous pastry or baking experience in a professional kitchen
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a kitchen or event environment
- Knowledge of basic pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert production
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit or Manager Food Safety Certification

Job Duties
- Supervise pastry and dessert production for soccer matches, concerts, and special events
- Execute desserts, baked goods, and specialty items according to Levy recipes and standards
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
- Assist with event prep, breakdown, and post-event kitchen resets
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Enforce proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature controls
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen and prep areas
- Provide direction, coaching, and on-shift leadership to pastry staff
- Model professionalism, teamwork, and guest-focused service
- Communicate effectively with managers, chefs, and event leadership
- Assist with inventory control, product usage, and waste reduction
- Support menu execution for catering events and concerts
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and labor guidelines
- Step in to perform culinary tasks as needed to support the team
