Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card required
- Meet qualification, eligibility, and background checks
- One-year probationary period may be required
- Satisfactory completion of E-Verify employment verification
- Completion of Tier 1 background investigation
- Possess and maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Completion of MWR customer service and equipment courses
- Able and willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in planning, supervising, or administering sports programs with individual and team sports
- Experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
- Undergraduate degree in physical education may be fully qualifying
- Ability to plan and execute sports programs including officiating amateur and professional events is highly preferred
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience and skills
Job Duties
- Plan and administer sports programs including clinics and competitive aquatics programming
- Act as official referee and/or coach and train staff and volunteers for sporting events
- Circulate among patrons to ensure satisfactory service and perform front desk tasks
- Assist patrons with equipment checkout, safety instructions, and demonstration of new equipment
- Support management in planning, conducting, and publicizing sporting events and social activities
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of sports and fitness equipment and athletic fields
- Maintain a healthy and clean facility environment
