Job Requirements

graduation from high school or successful completion of GED
one year of experience in event setup and logistics, sales, customer service, or closely related experience
some experience in a sports related field preferred
must possess a valid driver’s license
must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record based on City of Hampton’s criteria
must successfully pass a background check
may require some local travel
requires shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays
may be considered essential personnel during city emergency situations

Job Qualifications

one year of experience in event setup and logistics, sales, customer service, or related field
some experience in sports preferred
valid driver’s license
ability to work shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
capacity to serve as essential personnel during emergencies

Job Duties

support the setup, coordination, and wrap-up of sporting events
assist in preparation and implementation of events
work under supervision of Athletics Program Coordinator
participate in post-event activities
ensure compliance with established procedures
facilitate communication between event staff and participants
support logistical tasks during shifts
