Job Requirements

Must be 21 or older
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Must enjoy hosting and serving others
Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests
Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by supervisor or manager
Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission
Must be able to work as a team
Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment
Must be able to work at a very fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift
Must be able to pass a background check
Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
Must be comfortable and capable learning new software

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Knowledge of company and state policies related to gaming and alcohol service
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast paced environment
Experience handling cash and credit card transactions
Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Responsible for fostering a fun environment
Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to company policy and T.I.P.S. training
Promote gaming events and promotions
Must process cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
Maintain a clean and stocked workstation
Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations
Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsible for serving, pre-bussing, bussing and cleaning your section and your teammates section (full-hands in and full-hands out)
Roll silverware and clean during down time
Perform all opening and closing side work at the direction of your supervisor or manager
Help team members ensure guest is served in a timely manner
Expedite and run food for all tables
Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and sanitized
Must be able to understand and articulate the menu and drinks to guests
Tip out bartenders
Stock and clean your section
Must participate in end of shift rolling silverware and completion of side work, as a team, until it is all completed
Will work special events, as needed
Other duties, as needed
