Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school education or GED
  • One to three months related experience or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push or pull heavy carts
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -10 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Willingness to work in a loud and smoke-exposed environment
  • Ability to be under surveillance
  • Ability to qualify for required licenses and permits

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED
  • One to three months related experience or training
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to use an adding machine and basic computer skills
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations

Job Duties

  • Answer the phone
  • Take reservations
  • Seat guests and greet them
  • Maintain service in dining area
  • Assist with side work such as napkin folding and silverware polishing
  • Assist servers with set up and closing tasks
  • Provide positive communication using ACES Service skills
  • Ensure legal drinking age by checking identification
  • Perform duties safely and report hazards
  • May perform tasks at Lawrenceburg Event Center
  • Perform reasonable, temporarily assigned duties as needed
