Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proven experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Capability to lift heavy kitchen equipment and ingredients
  • Ability to work in noisy, high-energy environments
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Valid Utah Food Handlers permit or Food Safety Certificate required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proven experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting heavy pots, pans, and ingredients

  • Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers permit or Manager Food Safety Certificate

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot menu items such as grilled items, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, and other cooked foods according to recipe specifications
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist in food station setup and breakdown before and after events
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and cooking equipment
  • Support inventory management by notifying supervisors of low stock levels
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards
  • Respond quickly to the needs of the kitchen and service staff during high-volume periods
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety protocols
