Job Requirements
- Basic physical fitness to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, pots, and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong focus on maintaining hygiene standards and cleanliness
- Ability to work well with kitchen staff and follow instructions
- Efficiently manage time to ensure prompt dish cleaning especially during busy hours
- Familiarity with dishwashing machines and safety procedures is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Adherence to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure sanitary conditions
- Ability to maintain efficiency during peak hours and in a fast-paced environment
- Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit or Food Safety Manager Certificate

Job Duties
- Washing dishes by scraping, rinsing, and loading into dishwashers or washing by hand
- Maintaining proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures to meet health and safety standards
- Organizing storage of clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Keeping dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles and ensuring proper disposal
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or portioning food
- Following food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
- Reporting sanitation or equipment issues to kitchen supervisor
- Ensuring dishwashers are functioning properly and reporting malfunctions
- Assisting with closing duties including sanitizing cooking and prep areas
- Unloading and storing deliveries and maintaining dry storage areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing storage areas including refrigerators and freezers
- Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed
