Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business administration, sports management, or related field
  • two years of administrative experience in sports facilities operations, event rentals, or event coordination
  • or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
  • applicants within six months of meeting minimum requirements may be considered for trainee status
  • valid Florida driver license
  • motor vehicle record meeting Alachua County policy #6-7
  • motor vehicle record review prior to employment
  • no more than three moving traffic infractions or three motor vehicle accidents in past 24 months
  • no conviction or pending charge for driving under the influence
  • compliance with federal or state laws and regulations
  • successful completion of all applicable background checks
  • certified crowd manager training completion

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business administration, sports management, or related field
  • two years of administrative experience in sports facilities operations, event rentals, or event coordination
  • certified crowd manager training
  • valid Florida driver license

Job Duties

  • Coordinate sporting events, promote public and special events, oversee event scheduling and logistics, manage on-site event operations, ensure customer relations and satisfaction, maintain operational oversight, deliver safe and welcoming event experiences
