Job Requirements
- Must be able to work all 11 days of the annual Wisconsin State Fair
- Subject to comprehensive criminal background check prior to appointment
- Up to 2 days of remote work per week available after initial training contingent on business needs and seasonality
- High speed internet access required for remote work
- Eligible to work in the State of Wisconsin
- Ability to work an average of 40 hours per week within the LTE employment system
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated project management skills with strong planning, time management, organizational and administrative abilities
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience and professional training preferred
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with sponsors, colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications with ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Highly developed customer service skills with strong aptitude for creative problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service to sponsors throughout the year
- Prepare, distribute, execute, and track more than 125 partnership contracts and invoices annually
- Manage all aspects of partner ticket fulfillment, including ordering, tracking, and delivery
- Request, collect, and track partner insurance documentation within event management software
- Coordinate utility orders and payments for all on-site sponsors
- Oversee production, placement, and fulfillment of all contractual signage assets
- Manage in-kind partnerships including drafting and executing trade agreements and maintaining communication
- Coordinate retail ticket promotions including ticket ordering, delivery logistics, and signage fulfillment
- Lead planning and execution of annual Veterans & Military Appreciation Day and Veterans Expo
- Support planning and execution of annual partner preview and recognition events
- Schedule and facilitate sponsor meetings to review activations, promotions, and partnership deliverables
- Assist with fulfillment of hospitality contracts including credentials, vouchers, tickets, furniture, utilities, parking, and event-related needs
- Track sponsor metrics and assist in compiling recap decks summarizing partnership performance
- Collaborate with sponsorship team to execute activations, event setups, signage production and installation, and on-site support
- Provide administrative support to Sponsorship Manager and Director
- Aid in developing customized sponsorship proposals
- Research, identify, and cultivate sponsorship prospects maintaining accurate lead and contact lists
- Assist in creating and delivering proposal presentations
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and needs assessments
- Support negotiation of sponsorship package terms and benefits
- Collaborate to develop new sponsorship properties and revenue opportunities
- Manage and sell sponsor-related advertising inventory and creative approvals
- Assist in sales and management of State Fair booth sponsorships
- Contribute to non-traditional marketing partnerships and promotions
- Stay current on industry trends and sponsorship best practices
- Collaborate to prepare sales budgets, projections, analytic reports and presentations
- Assist in strategies to expand sponsorship sales and deepen engagement
- Ensure positive communication within marketing departments including note-taking and administrative tasks
