Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of professional work experience in student services or related education
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to pass fingerprint and background checks

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science, education with STEM emphasis or related field

Job Duties

  • Organize and implement the Spokane MESA program in compliance with curriculum guidelines
  • Oversee student cohorts from grades 6-12 and manage their participation in MESA classes and extracurricular activities
  • Schedule and supervise academic enrichment programs, including STEM lessons, field trips, and competitions
  • Mentor students using instructional tools aligned with school districts and WAMESA objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and other stakeholders to support student success
  • Co-facilitate professional development workshops for teachers in STEM education
  • Travel locally and regionally to support various school districts and program events
