Job Requirements

- Two years of professional work experience in student services or related education
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally

- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to pass fingerprint and background checks
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science, education with STEM emphasis or related field
- Two years of professional work experience in student services or related education field
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer use
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to mentor diverse student populations
- Experience working with culturally diverse backgrounds
- Valid driver's license with ability to meet departmental driving standards
- Ability to pass school district fingerprint and background checks
Job Duties
- Organize and implement the Spokane MESA program in compliance with curriculum guidelines
- Oversee student cohorts from grades 6-12 and manage their participation in MESA classes and extracurricular activities
- Schedule and supervise academic enrichment programs, including STEM lessons, field trips, and competitions
- Mentor students using instructional tools aligned with school districts and WAMESA objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and other stakeholders to support student success
- Co-facilitate professional development workshops for teachers in STEM education
- Travel locally and regionally to support various school districts and program events
