Job Description

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a prominent food manufacturing facility known for its production of quality frozen soups and macaroni and cheese under the Kraft Heinz umbrella of over 50 household brands in the U.S. This facility operates on a 3-shift system and employs approximately 200 hourly staff members, consisting of both temporary and full-time associates. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm
  • Compliance with safety standards and food safety protocols
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Organize dry ingredients according to recipes and place them on pallets
  • Label weighed ingredients with the proper Q number, weight, and allergen
  • Refer to recipes - weigh and measure dry ingredients
  • Keep a constant, accurate inventory of ingredients according to schedule
  • Lift up to 50 lbs while working in a variety of climates
  • Read and comprehend processing instructions
  • Follow all food safety policies and safety procedures
