Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to use point of sale systems and basic kitchen equipment
- prior food service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences, including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodation of special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
- ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
