Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Ability to work full time in a management role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 2 years experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and food costs
- Experience in menu development and kitchen operations
- Proficiency in employee training and mentorship
Job Duties
- Develops, designs, or creates new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products for the specialty restaurant
- Supervises specialty restaurant kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures
- Maintains food preparation, handling and storage standards
- Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements
- Assists in developing daily and seasonal menu items
- Leads, influences, and encourages kitchen team while preparing food
- Manages kitchen employees and day-to-day operations
