Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to perform bartender or coffee bar duties
  • Must possess a pleasant personality
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to operate cutting boards, mixers, knives and other kitchen equipment
  • Ability to meet medium work requirements per Department of Labor standards
  • Must adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies
  • Indian preference exercised

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to operate small kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers and cutters
  • Proficient skills in broilers and griddles
  • Familiar with all cook positions and their duties
  • Professional appearance as per company standards
  • Ability to function independently and as a team member
  • Record of satisfactory performance and reliability
  • Preferable ala carte production experience in high volume settings

Job Duties

  • Prepares specialty food items according to standard recipes
  • May be assigned to train, give instructions and prepare specialty items
  • Prepares various cold menu items and garnishes accordingly
  • Responsible for the efficient and economical utilization of all products and by-products to facilitate a lower food cost
  • Assists chefs and managers with daily specials in assigned outlets
  • Inspects menus and writes food requisitions for necessary portions
  • Checks methods of food preparation, portioning and garnishing
  • Assists in cooking, baking and serving specialty food items during rush periods
  • Delivers food items to guests and outlets
  • Ensures adherence to safety and sanitation policies
  • Performs bartender or coffee bar attendant duties as needed
  • Adheres to regulatory and company policies ethically
  • Performs other duties as assigned
