Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in noisy and smoky environments
- Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a sound knowledge of the various Chinese regional cuisines with a basic knowledge of other Asian cuisines, especially Thai, Vietnamese and sushi fabrication
- Ability to speak an Asian language is preferred
- Must have experience as at least 2 years’ experience in related field
- Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job
- Ensures that all guests and team members are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure
- Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance
- Must purchase and maintain tools necessary for work
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Job Duties
- Washes, chops, and cuts raw foods
- Prepares food according to basic recipes using simple techniques
- Uses a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe
- Assist in keeping freezers, walk-ins, and other storage areas in proper cleanliness and order
- Assist in ensuring that all foods are covered, labeled, initialed, and stored properly
- Practices safe food handling techniques
- Performs all other duties as assigned
