Job Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain all Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Occupational Licensing
- Illinois Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 35-50 lbs
- Capability to thrive in a high-energy casino restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of progressive line experience in upscale or fine-casual kitchens, Italian cuisine a plus
- Proven mastery of at least two stations such as pasta, sauté, grill, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to keep pace with coursed service
- A passion for food, presentation, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
Job Duties
- Run your own station such as sauté, grill, pasta, etc. with precision and pride
- Execute advanced techniques including searing proteins, building pan sauces, preparing fresh pasta, and butchering seafood to specification
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistency and quality
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on specials, menu rollouts, and maintain service excellence
- Deliver beautifully plated dishes while maintaining pace with the energy of a bustling fine-dining floor
