Job Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree or two years culinary education or relevant continuing education and work experience
- Experience with Chinese cuisine preparation
- Able to operate traditional Chinese cooking equipment such as tandoor oven
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Must have ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Experience in producing Chinese cuisine
- Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a team
- Formal training in food safety and regulatory compliance a plus
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organization
- Ability to manage heavy workload
- Ability to accurately monitor food preparation
- Flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Produce high-volume, high-quality food from menus
- Perform various cooking duties including grilling and preparing sauces
- Operate a traditional Chinese cuisine tandoor oven to cook meat and bread
- Prepare Chinese curries, sauces, and desserts according to Head Chef standards
- Regulate temperatures of cooking equipment including tandoor, ovens, grills, burners, and pans
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of traditional Chinese cuisine including desserts
- Ensure correct preparation and presentation standards of dishes
- Demonstrate tandoor techniques and cooking procedures to other staff
- Store food in temperature-controlled freezers
- Check food supplies and advise supervisor of requirements
- Comply with food handling policies and HACCP/GMP guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
