Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant culinary or food preparation experience
  • Ability to work evening shifts
  • Compliance with safety and security policies
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to follow company dress code and appearance standards
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Pull food from freezer to thaw in refrigerator
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or judgment
  • Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • Monitor food quality and test for doneness
  • Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish
  • Serve food in correct portions and receptacles
  • Use kitchen tools safely and appropriately
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • Check and ensure proper temperature of appliances and food
  • Notify manager if products do not meet specifications
  • Communicate assistance needs during busy periods
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects under 10 pounds
