Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the role
Basic cash handling and POS operation skills
Compliance with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety practices is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
A genuine passion for coffee and desire to help create memorable experiences for customers
Barista experience
Driver's license

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food items, and supplies
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Engage with customers to provide recommendations and promote new products or specials
