Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • Ability to manage specialty restaurant kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of sanitation and food handling regulations
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and quality standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develops new culinary applications and menu items for the specialty restaurant
  • Supervises kitchen shift operations ensuring food and beverage policies are followed
  • Maintains food preparation, handling, and storage standards
  • Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements
  • Communicates production needs to key personnel
  • Leads and coordinates kitchen staff activities
  • Ensures exceptional customer service and handles guest feedback
  • Manages day-to-day kitchen operations and budgets
  • Conducts staff training, mentoring, and performance appraisals
  • Oversees employee discipline and hiring processes
