Job Requirements
- Basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience
- Prior experience with oven, convection oven, mixer, fryer, bread slicer, stove, wrapper, scales, and cleaning materials
- Ability to lift, twist, move and carry a maximum of 50 lbs
- Maintain active signage and pricing in all departmental areas
- Accurately and efficiently handle cash, debit/credit, EBT/WIC, coupons, and vouchers

Job Duties
- Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely
- To accurately record customers’ order/requests for cakes and other bakery items
- To process customer purchases quickly and accurately by the operation of an electronic cash register, scanner and scale
- To review the perishable department Communication Board daily for updated materials and follow the guidelines posted for the Sampling Program and intercom announcements
- To greet all customers, respond to customer questions/requests and explain store policies in a courteous manner
- To ice and decorate cakes and pastries to customers and company specifications
- To record "out-of-stock" conditions and the time they occur and report to the department manager
- To fill/stock: donut case, cookie case, cake case, other display cases, and counter and display tables throughout the store
