Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with bakery equipment and customer service
- Ability to lift, twist, move and carry up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills
- Experience handling cash register and payment systems
- Ability to maintain signage and pricing
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic mathematics skills add, subtract, multiply, divide
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience with oven, convection oven, mixer, fryer, bread slicer, stove, wrapper, scales, and cleaning materials
Job Duties
- Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely
- Accurately record customers' orders and requests for cakes and bakery items
- Process customer purchases quickly and accurately using electronic cash register, scanner, and scale
- Review and follow daily department Communication Board updates and guidelines
- Ice and decorate cakes and pastries to customer and company specifications
- Report out-of-stock conditions and times to the department manager
- Fill and stock donut case, cookie case, cake case, and other display areas throughout the store
