Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • General education degree (GED) or High School Diploma
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to count money and change correctly
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed
  • Must be familiar with cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
  • Ability to work in small areas in a fast-paced and often crowded environment
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide an upscale guest experience by making and serving craft cocktails and drinks
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
  • Resolve service problems according to established guidelines and escalate issues to Food and Beverage leadership
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to guests
  • Remain knowledgeable on all products in outlet as well as casino events, amenities, and promotions
  • Suggest and upsell products to increase sales and guest loyalty
  • Prepare and pour drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe and guidelines
  • Add garnishes as required
  • Prepare garnishes including slicing, pitting, washing, storing, and stocking
  • Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils following safety procedures
  • Operate Point of Sales System, handle cash, charge, and complimentary sales accurately
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workstation in adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Support and demonstrate superior customer service according to company standards
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
