Job Requirements
- Taiwanese/Chinese culinary experience
- Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of catering experience
- Strong knife skills
- English proficiency
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and move intermittently during 8+ hour shifts
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards
- Ability to relocate to Phoenix, AZ
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven Taiwanese/Chinese culinary experience
- Culinary degree or professional cooking certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume institutional catering or similar environment
- Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for recipe compliance and safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance
Job Duties
- Prepare complete dishes from scratch across a wide variety of cuisines, ensuring authenticity and quality
- Assemble and plate dishes with a high level of consistency, adhering to customer specifications standards
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Uphold strict food safety and HACCP standards throughout all stages of food preparation
- Comply with safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service
- Adapt to changing kitchen priorities and tasks
