Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics
  • experience in automotive logistics focused on overseas and international processes desirable
  • bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or related fields preferred or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • strong technical skills in networking, hardware and software systems
  • excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
  • ability to independently work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics
  • experience in automotive logistics focused on overseas and international processes preferred
  • bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or related fields preferred or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • collaboration in developing, designing and implementing planning concepts and projects for material planning
  • responsibility for the entire process from the supplier to the customer's handover location related to parts and disposition of production materials and equipment
  • early identification of potential risks in the supply chain
  • active development and cross-departmental alignment and follow up of countermeasures as part of bottleneck control including checking parts inventory
  • clarification and sustainable elimination of problems of the overseas process, including coordination and responsible monitoring of IT processes
  • establishing ongoing, constructive and cooperative communication with suppliers
  • developing, editing, monitoring and optimizing the material flow and delivery programs with suppliers
  • steering and monitoring material flow from suppliers to production line, analyzing requirements and identifying bottlenecks
  • developing and initiating emergency strategies in the event of supply bottlenecks and collaborating with stakeholders on emergency procedures
  • collaborating with Purchasing department to ensure parts on time based on supplier and production demands
  • planning and optimizing internal and external processes for securing strong supply chain, including digitalization and CO reduction
  • supporting internal and external resources for planning, executing and optimizing logistics responsibilities
  • establishing and agreeing on processes related to introduction of parts technical modifications
  • coordinating run in and run out parts to ensure supply chain and avoid obsolete material costs
  • assuming special tasks corresponding to skills and duties of the job holder
  • working cooperatively with supervisors, employees and departments in compliance with guidelines, standards and regulations
