Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with on-site event management, preferably in music or entertainment events
- Experience managing high-volume projects and leading teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and coordinate student staff
- Familiarity with marketing and promotional activities for music artists
- Creative thinker capable of developing and pitching marketing plans
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel locally for events
- Ability to work collaboratively within a nationwide team
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience at an agency or similar setting, preferably in the entertainment industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with on-site event management, particularly in music or entertainment
- Demonstrated ability in high-volume project management and team leadership
- Strong creativity and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience with client and partner acquisition and retention
- Knowledge of regional music culture and local-level marketing strategies for artists
Job Duties
- Handle all logistics for LA-based fan events and experiences coordinated by the 1824, including venue scouting, vendor negotiation, staffing, event management, and budgeting
- Ideate, write, and pitch marketing plans for artists across all UMG labels
- Mentor, train, and coordinate projects with the 1824 part-time strategic partnership student representatives nationwide
- Oversee data capture strategy and event recaps for all experiential events across the country
- Support the New York Strategic Partnerships team with focus group and marketing strategy sessions involving label partners, artist management, and part-time staff
- Review, organize, and log event footage into the asset management system (Sony Ci)
- Address feedback to meet label and artist needs
- Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning
