Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing or event management experience
  • 2+ years managing external vendors or teams
  • Ability to travel extensively including nights and weekends
  • Reside within 30 minutes of San Diego office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Knowledge of timeshare and travel industry preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • Understanding of timeshare industry, products, and clubs
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong motivation to learn and operate independently with discretion
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships across a broad organization
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to solicit feedback and improve processes
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments
  • Knowledge of vacation ownership and travel industry a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Proficiency in Adobe Professional
  • 5+ years experience in marketing, campaign strategy, or loyalty marketing
  • 2+ years experience managing external vendors or direct reports

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events
  • Manage event logistics including venue procurement, entertainment booking, dining arrangements, transportation, and vendor partnerships
  • Ensure events stay within budget and deliver exceptional guest and stakeholder experiences
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, site leaders, guests, and external vendors
  • Collaborate with field sales and marketing teams to increase onsite owner tour participation
  • Host assigned events within their market and assist with events in other markets
  • Travel frequently, including nights and weekends, to support face-to-face interactions
