Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in marketing, campaign strategy, or loyalty marketing
  • 2+ years experience managing external vendors, agencies, or direct reports
  • Must live within 30 minutes drive from 525 Spruce St, San Diego, CA 92103
  • Ability to travel frequently including nights and weekends up to 80-90%
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Hosts all event types across Travel + Leisure Co. brands, both onsite and offsite, engaging directly with owners, resort and venue personnel, and marketing and sales leaders
  • Researches event logistics and determines overall event concepts that remain inside monetary budgets and will lead to sales success
  • Builds strategic relationships with site sales and marketing leaders to enhance event quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiencies
  • Plans and manages multiple events at various stages simultaneously
  • Communicates with site-level sales and marketing, business operations, and resort operations leaders to ensure events are executed on schedule and objectives are achieved
  • Submits event details, proformas, and contracts to senior leadership for cost approvals
