Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in airline maintenance, engineering or aircraft records
  • At least 3 years of aircraft maintenance planning experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience with airworthiness directives
  • Proficiency in researching and interpreting federal regulations and FAA documentation
  • Knowledge of Advisory Circulars, FAA Orders, and related FAA materials
  • Ability to manage compliance tracking systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • FAA A&P certification preferred
  • Experience interacting with the FAA preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in airline maintenance, engineering and/or aircraft records required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Aircraft Maintenance Planning experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Airworthiness Directives required
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience researching and interpreting CFRs and other FAA documentation (ACs, ADs, Orders, Notices, FAA Handbook) preferred
  • Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations and FAA documentation (Advisory Circulars, FAA Orders, Notices, TCDS) required
  • FAA A&P certificate preferred
  • Experience working with the FAA preferred

Job Duties

  • Review all ADs and Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) for Frontier Airlines to determine applicability initial scheduling in conjunction with the AD & SDR Technical Specialist
  • Ensures that an Airworthiness Directive Analysis Worksheet (ADAW) (Form 30799) and Engineering Action Request were generated for each applicable AD
  • Reviews, approves and releases initial and updated AD FMIS entries for tracking
  • Reviews, approves and releases initial and updated engineering AD FMIS entries for tracking
  • Reviews Airworthiness Directive Analysis Worksheet (ADAW) (Form 30799) when updated by the Engineering department and provides concurrence of analysis for AD compliance
  • Receive, record, and distribute ADs, NPRMs, and new or revised maintenance-related CFRs to the appropriate parties for their evaluation for applicability and incorporation into Frontier
  • Review Engineering Orders applicable to ADs
  • Maintain a database of all ADs and NPRMs
  • Monitor all of Maintenance organization activities relative to complying with all ADs and report the status to the AD Review Board
  • Monitors all aspects of AD compliance and reports delinquent status to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain familiarization with the training requirements necessary as defined in the GMM 100.03 and ensure training is current prior to performing the functions and tasks of this Position VDRP
  • Monitor, establish and modify processes and procedures related to the AD Management Program as stated in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) Sections 90.27 and 90.29
