Job Requirements
- Hold a valid California driver’s license
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor including standing and maneuvering for long periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Capacity to handle solvents, adhesives, cleaning chemicals safely
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Climb and descend ladders and stairs carrying heavy objects
- Use and operate hand and electric tools related to job duties
- Wear personal protective and safety equipment as needed
- Commitment to an equity-minded focus fostering inclusive environments
Job Qualifications
- Possess strong equity-minded focus and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrate effective customer service skills
- Understand and apply principles of effective communication
- Have knowledge of English language structure and grammar as required for job duties
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment when required
Job Duties
- Greet and serve as official liaison for visiting teams, officials, emergency personnel, media, and community groups
- Assist with event set-up including unlocking and securing facilities
- Notify police or supervisors of non-compliance with facility use policies
- Perform filing and prepare reports
- Operate carts and manage concessions
- Oversee parking and storage of materials
- Assist as usher, announcer, scoreboard operator, and support chain gang crew for football games
