Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license
- Follow safety procedures and safe work practices
- Perform physically demanding labor including standing and maneuvering for long periods
- Work outdoors in inclement weather
- Handle chemicals such as solvents, glues, adhesives, and cleaning solutions
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Climb and descend ladders or stairs carrying heavy objects
- Wear personal protective and safety equipment when required
- Operate hand and electric tools
- Exposure to sharp blades from tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective customer service skills
- Knowledge of English language structure, composition, grammar, and report writing
- Basic arithmetic skills relevant to job duties
- Ability to operate hand, electric, and specialized tools
- Valid California driver’s license
Job Duties
- Practice an equity mindset and assess institutional policies
- Serve as official liaison for visiting teams, officials, emergency personnel, media, and community groups
- Assist with event set-up requirements including unlocking and securing facilities
- Notify police or supervisors if facility use policies are not followed
- Perform filing and prepare reports
- Operate chain gang and scoreboard for football events
- Assist with concessions, parking, storage, ushering, and other organizational duties as assigned
