Job Requirements

  • minimum education or equivalent experience in event management or related field
  • considerable knowledge of special event operations and client relations
  • demonstrated leadership experience managing and coaching teams
  • ability to multitask and manage details in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in GSuite or relevant software
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • must pass a criminal background check
  • valid employment eligibility verification

Job Qualifications

  • considerable knowledge of special event operations including planning, setup, and client relations
  • strong leadership skills with proven success in team management and coaching
  • experience in delegating tasks and maintaining a positive team environment
  • proficiency with computers particularly in a GSuite environment or event management software
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with customer service or high-level hospitality is desirable
  • familiarity with CRM or event management software is a plus

Job Duties

  • supervise day-to-day operations of the events team
  • manage event budgets and resources
  • develop and grow sales through creative rental packages
  • build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships
  • plan and execute events from inquiry through breakdown
  • ensure safety and service standards are met
  • lead and coach a diverse team effectively
