Job Requirements
- minimum education or equivalent experience in event management or related field
- considerable knowledge of special event operations and client relations
- demonstrated leadership experience managing and coaching teams
- ability to multitask and manage details in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in GSuite or relevant software
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- must pass a criminal background check
- valid employment eligibility verification
Job Qualifications
- considerable knowledge of special event operations including planning, setup, and client relations
- strong leadership skills with proven success in team management and coaching
- experience in delegating tasks and maintaining a positive team environment
- proficiency with computers particularly in a GSuite environment or event management software
- demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience with customer service or high-level hospitality is desirable
- familiarity with CRM or event management software is a plus
Job Duties
- supervise day-to-day operations of the events team
- manage event budgets and resources
- develop and grow sales through creative rental packages
- build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships
- plan and execute events from inquiry through breakdown
- ensure safety and service standards are met
- lead and coach a diverse team effectively
