Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand, walk and work on feet for long periods
  • ability to work in extreme weather conditions ranging from 15 below zero to 110 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • willingness to work varied hours based on event schedules
  • successful completion of background check
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to assist in preparing and serving food
  • ability to read and write
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic computations
  • ability to operate food service equipment and appliances
  • ability to use kitchen utensils
  • ability to work in irritating environments and adverse temperature conditions
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • ability to lift, transport and stock food service supplies, materials and equipment
  • willingness to obtain optional TIPS and ServSafe certifications

Job Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of food items by slicing, chopping, grating, cleaning, mixing, etc
  • serve food following established food portion control standards
  • maintain the operational readiness of facilities and equipment including setting up counters, steam tables, serving lines and utensils
  • maintain safe and sanitary conditions in cooking, serving and work areas including cleaning facilities and equipment
  • assist in stocking and storing food service items and keep records of daily operations, food production, consumption and inventory
  • operate a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, toasters, fryers, mixers
