Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in related field
- On-site position
- Proven track record in sales within entertainment or hospitality industry
- Proficiency with sales and event management software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Willingness to attend industry networking events
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience generating consistently profitable relationships in entertainment and hospitality industries
- Working knowledge of local and regional markets, special event operations, and guest relations
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite, catering software, calendaring systems, and preferably Momentus Elite and Prismm
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to delegate, follow up, and relate positively with staff, guests, and clients
Job Duties
- Proactively pitch and book private special events in assigned market segments on OCVIBE properties including Honda Center, Grove of Anaheim, ARTIC Transit Center and upcoming spaces
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals
- Consistently fulfill sales call and networking quotas while maintaining impeccable client detail tracking
- Create event recruitment strategies to increase content and programming in both creative public-facing and private special events
- Work with all in-house departments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and optimal financial opportunities on all events
- Review industry trends and make recommendations on new business opportunities supporting departmental strategic plans
- Handle initial phone calls and electronic inquiries promptly within 24 hours
