Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience
- on-site availability
- proven ability to generate profitable relationships in entertainment and hospitality
- knowledge of special event operations and guest relations
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and event software
- excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- strong negotiation abilities

- working knowledge of local and regional markets

- experience with Momentus Elite and Prismm preferred

- strong communication and negotiation skills
Job Duties
- Proactively pitch and book private special events on OCVIBE properties including Honda Center, Grove of Anaheim, and ARTIC Transit Center
- meet and exceed individual sales goals
- fulfill sales call and networking quotas while maintaining detailed client tracking
- create event recruitment strategies to increase content and programming
- coordinate with in-house departments for event consistency and financial optimization
- review industry trends and recommend new business opportunities
- handle initial inquiries promptly
- develop targeted client lists
- ensure optimal venue perception in community and professional organizations
- draft event contracts and maintain event-related files
- manage venue scheduling and communications for special events
- conduct sales tours for potential clients
- distribute event contract details to relevant departments
- solicit new business through various outreach methods
- identify key clients for discount and incentive programs
- manage account activity and secure space availability
- negotiate contracts and close sales
- utilize internal systems like Momentus Elite and Prismm
- represent OCVIBE at industry meetings
- assist in sales collateral and campaign development
- monitor and adapt to changes in the sales and special events industry
