Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • On-site work availability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with event management software preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Valid ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Reliable communication and follow-through
  • Knowledge of hospitality and entertainment industries

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in entertainment or hospitality sales
  • Proven track record of generating profitable client relationships
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional event markets
  • Experience with special event operations and guest relations
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and catering software
  • Familiarity with Momentus Elite and Prismm preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to delegate, follow up, and maintain positive client and team relations

Job Duties

  • Proactively pitch and book private special events in assigned market segments
  • Meet and exceed individual sales goals
  • Consistently fulfill sales call and networking quotas with detailed client tracking
  • Create event recruitment strategies for public and private events
  • Coordinate with in-house departments to ensure event consistency and financial success
  • Review industry trends and recommend new business opportunities
  • Handle initial inquiries promptly within 24 hours
  • Develop and maintain targeted client lists
  • Ensure optimal venue perception in the community and professional organizations
  • Draft and manage event contracts and databases
  • Coordinate events on venue calendar and communicate schedules
  • Conduct tours for potential clients and event producers
  • Facilitate communication of contract details to relevant departments
  • Pursue new business opportunities through cold calls and client presentations
  • Establish and manage discount and incentive programs for key clients
  • Manage and track account activities
  • Validate and secure space availability for events
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Utilize event management systems such as Momentus Elite and Prismm
  • Represent OCVIBE at industry meetings and trade shows
  • Assist in developing sales collateral and campaigns
  • Monitor industry changes and adapt strategies accordingly
