Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of special event experience
- highly organized and detail-oriented
- exceptional customer service skills
- understanding of operational aspects of the business (training provided)
- willingness to assist with servicing portable toilets
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media
- strong time management and problem-solving skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- utilize company systems to track, document, and follow up on all event-related activities
- coordinate logistics and marketing for trade shows, customer appreciation events, and public relations initiatives
- conduct client tours, generate sales leads, create proposals, draft contracts, and present event budgets
- upsell services and amenities to maximize event revenue
- pursue new business opportunities to grow accounts and increase revenue
- manage customer quotes and orders, resolve issues, and maintain professional communication
- gather and organize data from upcoming events to support strategic planning
- oversee timely delivery and installation of services or equipment
- assist in developing marketing materials such as videos, flyers, and web content
- follow up with existing customers to ensure expectations are met
- travel to customer locations and job sites as needed
- perform administrative tasks including accounts receivable
- be available during event-heavy periods, especially weekends
