Job Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to obtain or renew all government required licenses or certification
  • flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • physical stamina to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment
  • ability to sit, stand, walk, move through all casino areas
  • ability to speak and hear
  • use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • able to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Casino or hotel experience is a plus
  • ability to obtain or renew all government-required licenses or certification
  • excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • interpersonal skills to effectively deal with contacts and employees at all levels
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and the general public
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and create and interpret bar graphs
  • ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment
  • ability to interpret and follow instructions in various forms
  • must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • champion of customer service and building positive team spirit
  • flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours, and overtime as business needs dictate

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions
  • give directions
  • sign up new Infinity Rewards members
  • support marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events
  • help with loading and opening boxes, ensuring they are in good condition and proper amount is issued
  • check ID and player's cards
  • observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel
  • perform event management using a computer
  • score tournaments
  • help set-up and run all casino events and special promotions within the department
  • relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service
  • move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy customer needs
  • work varying schedules reflecting the business needs of the property
