Job Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to obtain or renew all government required licenses or certification
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- physical stamina to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment
- ability to sit, stand, walk, move through all casino areas
- ability to speak and hear
- use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- able to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Casino or hotel experience is a plus
- ability to obtain or renew all government-required licenses or certification
- excellent communication skills both written and oral
- interpersonal skills to effectively deal with contacts and employees at all levels
- strong attention to detail
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and the general public
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and create and interpret bar graphs
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment
- ability to interpret and follow instructions in various forms
- must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- champion of customer service and building positive team spirit
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours, and overtime as business needs dictate
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions
- give directions
- sign up new Infinity Rewards members
- support marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events
- help with loading and opening boxes, ensuring they are in good condition and proper amount is issued
- check ID and player's cards
- observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel
- perform event management using a computer
- score tournaments
- help set-up and run all casino events and special promotions within the department
- relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service
- move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy customer needs
- work varying schedules reflecting the business needs of the property
